Terms & Conditions
Soul Journeys will arrange tickets, bookings and reservations, only as
an agent for its clients, who accept the same subject to these Terms and
Conditions below.
Reservations & Payment for Tour Bookings

A non-refundable deposit per person, relating to the size and nature
of a trip will be required when booking any of the trips. On receipt
of your deposit, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. The
deposit received for a tour shall be deemed as an acceptance of the
full terms and conditions for Soul Journeys.

The balance of the 50% deposit will then be payable with the final
balance due 8 weeks prior to departure.

Soul Journeys reserves the right to adjust the fixed advertised
price of any trip to accommodate any exchange rate, hotel, airline
or other increases until full payment has been received.

The cost of the tours is based on a minimum of 12 persons and a
maximum of 20 persons. Final payment must be made 8 weeks prior to
departure.
Methods of Payment

Soul Journeys accepts payments in cash, cheque (with 10 day bank
clearance) and preferably bank transfer.

An additional 7% of any total tour price will be charged for credit
card payments.

For any individual payment structures, please contact us and we will
try our best to accommodate you.
Cancellation & Refunds
-
Soul Journeys must be notified of any cancellation and cannot be
held liable for all loss, damages and expenses incurred by such a
cancellation.

Soul Journeys shall be under no obligation to refund the client any
monies until the company has computed all costs incurred and Soul
Journeys will be entitled to deduct any commission and/or profit it
would have earned had the client not cancelled.

If any tour does not achieve minimum participation, Soul Journeys
reserves the right to cancel the tour and will offer participants
the opportunity to join a similar tour or wait for the minimum
people to join the same tour within a year.

Once the booking has been confirmed with an initial deposit up to 6
weeks prior to departure, the deposit will be forfeited. Thereafter
the following will apply:
6 weeks prior: 30% of total tour price
4 weeks prior: 50% of total tour price
3 weeks prior: 70% of total tour price
2 weeks prior: 80% of total tour price
1 week prior: 100% of total tour price

Amendments and all cancellations en route must be made with our
overseas operators directly and this may incur additional fees which
will be payable by the client directly to the operators.

Soul Journeys reserves the right to cancel your booking prior to
departure, where in its discretion, circumstances justify
cancellation. If this is of no fault of the client’s, the total
price will be refunded.
Delays
Soul Journeys will not be held responsible or liable for any delays
prior to or during any tour due to technical problems, strikes,
lock-outs, weather conditions, any foreseen or unforeseen circumstances
and all the related additional expenses or unscheduled extensions will
be for the client’s account.
Travel Documents

Documentation will be prepared once full and final payment is
received.

Each client will be personally responsible for ensuring they have
the correct documentation and have complied with the necessary
health, passport and visa requirements prior to departure.

Soul Journeys cannot be held responsible for the loss of any
passport, airline ticket or documentation by a third party including
visa agents or courier companies.
Responsibility
-
While Soul Journeys will make every effort to ensure that any tour
will be carried out in the most efficient and effective way
possible, they will not be held responsible for any error or
omissions by the provision of the suppliers.

The flight tickets during the tour will constitute the sale between
the passenger and the airline. Soul Journeys will not be liable for
any loss, damage, or injury arriving from air travel.

Soul Journeys will accept your booking on a basis that it will not
be liable for any loss, harm, delay, injury or even death to person
or property however caused.

Soul Journeys reserves the right to decline the acceptance of any
person in any of the tours.
Health & Insurance
-
We suggest that our clients take out insurance for medical cover,
loss of baggage, trip cancellation or default when booking on a
tour. Soul Journeys will not be held liable for any loss, damage or
injury sustained in the course of the tour.

The client may take out additional insurances over and above the
travel insurance offered by Soul Journeys.

We also suggest that a travel clinic is consulted to ensure that the
client has complied with all vaccinations, inoculations or health
regulations that are necessary to enter the relevant country, city
or town.
Tour Costs
The costs vary according to country and/or city. Please see each
itinerary for relevant costs. The costs are subject to the rand/dollar
exchange rate, airline and hotel increases until full payment has been
received. Any additional arrangements required by travellers from other
countries can be organised by Soul Journeys at your request. Tour costs
are based on group rates and no refunds will be given for unutilized
services. Soul Journey reserves the right to substitute hotels of a
similar category.
